Garanti Online was designated “The Best Bill Payment & Presentment”

The internet banking service Garanti Online was awarded “The Best Bill Payment & Presentment” in Central and Eastern Europe within the annual award ceremony organized by the renowned magazine Global Finance. The distinction was granted based on a complex analysis carried out by the editorial team of Global Finance magazine and was based on the strength and success strategy of the web products and services.

Garanti Bank was awarded “The most dynamic bank”

The excellent results obtained by Garanti Bank in 2010 were appreciated at the highest level within “Top Bankers” Gala organized on July 21st 2011, by Finmedia. Garanti Bank was awarded as ”The most dynamic bank, with the most spectacular rise in the top of banks in 2010”. The distinction took into account the significant growths registered by the bank for the most important financial indicators: 73% increase in assets, loans higher by more than 45%, doubled deposits.

Bonus Card – “The best promotion”

No-Cash Gala Award, organized for the 10th year in a row, designated Garanti Bank as the winner of the “The best promotion” category, for the campaigns carried out for Bonus Card credit card. These campaigns have ensured significant growths for the bank in 2010 vs 2009: 52% increase in cards portfolio, 62% more active cards and 230% increase in number of transactions. This award was given based on the votes of jury formed of 32 representatives of other banks, payment and cards processors, technology providers etc.

CrediMed, awarded by Colegiul Medicilor in Romania

CrediMed product was appreciated as the “Best banking product of the year for physicians” within the Gala organized by “Colegiul Medicilor in Romania” on June 6th 2011. This award was granted based on public nominations and votes from the medical community.

Garanti Bank, awarded within "e-Payments" category

Within the 8th edition of e-Finance Gala Awards, organized on March, 2nd 2011, Garanti Bank was awarded within "e-Payments" category for the real-time payment system developed at the end of 2010. This system has been implemented on the ATMs within Garanti Bank network and Vodafone shops and allows the following instant transactions: invoice payment and top-up for Vodafone. Another benefit of this payment system, unique on the Romanian market, is its extended accessibility, being used by anyone, either a Garanti Bank customer or not and irrespective of the chosen payment method: with any debit card or with cash.
