Garanti Bank launches Bonus Card on the Romanian market
November 22, 2007, Bucharest: Garanti Bank brings today on the Romanian Market the first multi-branded loyalty credit card with EMV chip. Bonus Card is a multi-functional card which rewards consumers for each purchase they make, and makes shopping easy and smart by offering free installments and ready-to-use loan facilities. Bonus Card addresses everyone who wishes to earn while spending and shop for free.
Bonus is a credit card which rewards the user with a bonus of 0.5% of the amount spent at more than 25 million stores all over the world. Cardholders earn more bonuses, between 1% and 2% of the spent value, while shopping at partner merchants. Cardholders can enjoy free shopping with the bonuses they have collected at our partner merchants. When redeeming, the value of 1 bonus is 1 RON, and there are no coupons, no gift catalogs, no waiting and no time limits for using the reward points, the bonuses.
Bonus Card brings Romanians another additional benefit, the ability to purchase in installments at partner merchants and increase their purchasing power. Cardholders have the choice of purchasing in free of DAE installments, from 2 to 12 installments depending on the partner merchant or purchasing with longer term installments with an interest. Both installment facilities offer the cardholder high convenience and flexibility in aligning their budget to their needs.
