Garanti Bank doubles the maximum amount of general purpose loans
July 1, 2008 – Garanti Bank increased the maximum amount of general purpose loans without collaterals from EUR 15,000 to EUR 30,000 (or the equivalent amount in RON/USD/CHF). General purpose loans are granted in RON, EUR, CHF or USD for a maximum period of 10 years.
In order to obtain these loans, Garanti Bank clients do not need collaterals or guarantors. The interest rate is 8.94% for EUR loans (DAE 13.5% calculated for the maximum amount of EUR 30,000 and maximum period of 10 years) and 12.72% for RON loans (DAE 17.89%).
„The general purpose loan is one of the most attractive lending products for individuals. It is addressed to dynamic people who need a loan fast, without having to submit to the bank too many documents or collaterals. Now we give these clients the option to get even more money, which they can use as they wish: for refurbishing their house, for refinancing other consumer loans or simply for going on holiday or to studies”, Okan Yurtsever, Retail Banking Director, stated.
