Garanti Bank offers new customers increased interest rates for deposits
September 1, 2008 - Garanti Bank offers new customers +0.25% interest for any deposit, for any tenor, in any currency. New customers are the ones that come to the bank for the first time and benefit from any product or service offered by Garanti Bank. The offer is valid until 31 December 2008.
Within the offer, the deposits in RON for 6 and 12 months will bear an interest of 11.50% per year, fix during the entire tenor. For deposits in EUR for 6 and 12 months, the interest becomes 5.50% and 5.75% per year, respectively. Deposits are automatically renewed on the maturity date for a period equal to that of the initial deposit, at the interest rate applicable on the renewal date. The interest rate may be capitalized or transferred to the current account.
“This campaign addresses new customers who come to Garanti Bank for a personal needs loan, a mortgage loan, a Bonus Card or any other product or services. Once they become our customers, they can benefit from a special saving product, having the possibility to set a deposit for which they receive an increased interest rate.”, Okan Yurtsever, Retail Banking Director, stated.
