Garanti Bank eliminates the fee for cash withdrawal from any ATM in Romania
September 8, 2008 - Garanti Bank offers its Garanti Bank24 (debit card) holders the option to withdraw cash from the ATMs of any bank in Romania free of charge. Previously, the cash withdrawal fee was zero only when using Garanti Bank ATMs. The maximum amount that can be withdrawn in one day from the ATM is 3,000 RON.
"The decision to cancel the cash withdrawal fee from any bank's ATMs gives our customers access to the entire ATM network in Romania, without paying any fee. Now any Garanti Bank24 holder may access his/her money easier and faster, without any cost.", Okan Yurtsever, Retail Banking Director, stated.
Garanti Bank24 is a Maestro debit card, with zero issue and maintenance fee. Used at Garanti Bank ATMs, it allows complex transactions such as: money transfers in RON or foreign currency from own account to other Garanti Bank accounts, foreign exchange at an exchange rate better than at the bank's counters, cash deposit to any account opened with Garanti Bank, payment of the minimum due amount for Bonus Card (credit card), PIN change.
