Garanti Bank decreased the interest rates of loans for individuals
9.03.2009 - Garanti Bank decreased by up to 3 percentage points the interest rates of loans for individuals
The interest rates for housing loan were decreased by more than 2.5 percentage points, down to 9.96% for EUR loans (DAE 12.03%)* and 19.50% for RON ones (DAE 23.27%). The new interest rate of mortgage loan for constructions is 11.16% for EUR (DAE 12.03%) and 20.70% for RON (DAE 23.27%).
For general purpose loan with real guarantees the interest rate was cut back by more than 2.7 percentage points. The interest rate for general purpose loan with real guarantees is now 10.14% for EUR (DAE 12.91%) and 19.68% for RON (DAE 24.24%). The interest rate for the general purpose loan was reduced by 3 percentage points, down to 12.9% for EUR loans (DAE 18.7%) and 21.6% for RON loans (DAE 28.79%).
"Garanti Bank continues to offer its clients a wide range of products and services, in order to support both their needs for saving, but also for financing. Because we wish to have lending products very advantegeous for our clients, we decreased the interest rates of loans for individuals by up to 3 percentage points.", Okan Yurtsever, Retail Banking & Bancassurance Director, Garanti Bank Romania, stated.
