I take over from Berat Icinsel the Romanian branch of Garanti Bank, which had an enormous growth in the last two years, since it started to expand its product and service range for a full fledged banking service. My main objective will be to consolidate the business, a step that usually follows an intense expansion such as the one experienced by Garanti Bank in the last period. At present we have 49 agencies in the entire country, more than 640 employees, we ended 2008 with assets exceeding EUR 450 million and more than 50.000 clients. I am here to continue and amplify this success, for gaining more market share and increase the number of clients, while continuing to develop the offered portfolio of products and services.", Murat Atay stated.
