Eureko and Garanti Bank signed a partnership agreement for pension funds distribution

8.10.2009 – Eureko, one of the the largest financial groups in Europe, and Garanti Bank Romania signed a partnership agreement for pension funds distribution. Following this partnership, Garanti Bank will receive the appropriate authorization from CSSPP (the supervision commission for private pensions system) as authorized marketing agent. Subsequently, Garanti Bank will distribute through its agency network compulsory and voluntary pension funds, managed by Eureko.

"We are happy to extend our range of products and services to pension funds, as we want to implement a ‘one stop shopping’ strategy for our customers. Through this partnership, Garanti Bank will offer high quality private pensions. This is a first step to improving the retirement provisions of our customers along with our usual saving products, a combination that will fulfill their need and expectations for that period.", Okan YURTSEVER, Retail Banking & Bancassurance Director, Garanti Bank, stated.

"Eureko and Garanti Bank have already a strong relationship through our cooperation in Turkey and this initiative is a natural extension of this partnership. Our organisations are perfectly alligned  as we both have a high growth strategy on the Romanian market and we benefit from the support of strong shareholders willing to invest in this dynamic economy. This is why I am convinced that both Eureko and Garanti Bank customers will benefit in the coming years through the improved services and products offered" stated Shaun Russell CCO of Eureko in Romania.
