Garanti Bank decreased the interest rates to all secured loans for individuals

21.01.2010 – Garanti Bank decreased by up to 1.8% the interest rates to all secured loans granted to individuals in EUR starting January 22nd, 2010.

Housing loan: available in RON, EUR, USD and CHF; no maximum amount, granting period up to 30 years. The new interest rate is 6% for EUR (DAE 7.72% calculated for the amount of EUR 300,000 and the maximum period of 30 years).

General purpose loan with real guarantee: available in RON, EUR, USD and CHF; the maximum amount is EUR 300,000 or equivalent, with granting period of up to 30 years. The new interest rate is 6.18% for EUR (DAE 8.57% calculated for the maximum amount of EUR 300,000 and the maximum period of 30 years).

Mortgage loan for constructions: available in RON, EUR, USD and CHF; no maximum amount, granting period up to 30 years for constructions loan and up to 20 years for modernising loans. The new interest rate is 7.20% for EUR (DAE 7.71% calculated for the amount of EUR 300,000 and the maximum period of 30 years).

“In 2010 also, one of the main objectives of Garanti Bank is to encourage lending of both individuals and companies. Following this first interest rates decrease of this year, we offer ones of the best lending conditions currently existing on the market. Depending on the market trend, we estimate other subsequent decreases for loans both in RON and EUR.”, Murat Atay, General Manager of Garanti Bank, stated.
