Garanti Bank decreased by 1.08% the interest rates for all loans in RON

02.02.2010 – Garanti Bank decreased by 1.08% the interest rates for all loans in RON granted to individuals. The decrease applies for both existing loans, as well as for the new loans granted starting February 1st, 2010.

Housing loan: available in RON, EUR, USD and CHF; no maximum amount, granting period up to 30 years. The new interest rate is 11.40% for RON (DAE 13.75% calculated for the maximum period of 30 years).

General purpose loan with real guarantee: available in RON, EUR, USD and CHF; the maximum amount is EUR 300,000 or equivalent, with granting period of up to 30 years. The new interest rate is 11.82% for RON (DAE 14.93% calculated for the maximum period of 30 years).

General purpose loan without guarantee: available in RON, EUR, USD and CHF; the maximum amount is EUR 30,000 or equivalent, with granting period of up to 10 years. The new interest rate is 11.52% for RON (DAE 18.62% calculated for the maximum period of 10 years).

General purpose loan ”Summa cum laude”: available in RON, EUR, USD and CHF; the maximum amount is EUR 30,000 or equivalent, with granting period of up to 10 years. The new interest rate is 10.32% for RON (DAE 16.70% calculated for the maximum period of 10 years).

Mortgage loan for constructions: available in RON, EUR, USD and CHF; no maximum amount, granting period of up to 30 years for construction loans and up to 20 years for modernising loans. The new interest rate is 12.60% for RON (DAE 13.75% calculated for the maximum period of 30 years).

Auto loan: available in RON, EUR, USD and CHF; the maximum amount is EUR 40,000 or equivalent, with granting period of up to 7 years. The new interest rate is 11.82% for RON (DAE 16.21% calculated for the maximum period of 7 years).

„This is the second interest rates decrease that Garanti Bank operated this year for the retail loans. On January 22nd, we announced a decrease by 1.80% of the interest rates in EUR for all the secured loans granted to individuals. At the same time, considering the decrease of the monetary policy rate by the NBR, the bank reduced by 1.08% the interest rates for both the existing as well as for the new loans in RON, starting February 1st.”, Murat Atay, General Manager of Garanti Bank, stated.
